Tom Sandoval has a new group.
The will of “Vanderpump Rules” shows his musical talents with the debut of his new cover group, Sandoval & the Most Extras. The SUR bartender-turned-bar owner revealed his new project in an Instagram post that announced the group’s debut show, which will be held at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. In a clip shared with his subscribers, Sandoval is seen performing Loverboy’s song “Working for the Weekend”.
“So excited to bring you my cover band, ‘Sandoval & the MOST Extras,’ he captioned the clip. “Our first show is Sunday, NOV 14e @thehotelcafe.
Sandoval co-stars and other celebrities reacted to the new group
A description of the group shared by DOLA teases, “There is nothing Tom does on a small scale, and this group is no different. Tom has assembled an eclectic group of fun-to-sing covers that you can’t help but dance to.
In the comments section of Sandoval’s post, famous fans and friends reacted to his new group project.
“I can’t wait to see the show! Wrote Sandoval’s longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix, who also noted that the show was already sold out.
” I can not wait ! Added Scheana Shay.
“You fucking rock star!” Wow! # 1 FAN, ”wrote former co-star Billie Lee.
“Vanderpump Rules” star Charli Burnett posted fiery emoji, while James Kennedy revealed he would open for the Sandoval show.
“I can’t wait to open for the EXTRA BAND on Planet Earth!” Wrote the DH.
“Do you want a piece of my heart?” “Summer House” star Carl Radke wrote, referring to the song’s lyrics.
Even “The Pioneer Woman,” Ree Drummond, rang.
“Loverboy !!! 😍 Best song and great cover !!!” wrote the Food Network star.
Sandoval has been part of several groups over the years
Longtime fans know that Sandoval has been on several groups. According to a Reddit thread, he was part of a group called Pierce the Arrow which featured Lisa Vanderpump’s son Max on guitar.
Sandoval was also part of the two-man group, Charles McMansion, along with his collaborator Isaac Kappy. In 2015, the duo released the song “TIP” At the time, Sandoval told Billboard that he was “very passionate” about the collaboration.
“Me and Isaac do everything together when it comes to music and production,” he said. “He’s really good at finding brackets, because I’m bad at brackets, then I can fill in the blanks, work on the lyrics. I wrote 70-80% of the lyrics for “TIP”.
He also teased future projects featuring more “funk” and “live horns”.
“I imagine a kind of modern day Blues Brothers vibe,” he said.
Sandoval kicked off his music career last year with a Christmas jam session alongside the Food Network’s Potash twins. Sandoval pulled out his trumpet for the song.
“It was so great to be able to play with Potash twins,” he told Page Six. “I’ve wanted it for ages. Mixing cocktails and instruments could be two of my favorite things in life.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star also noted that he played the trumpet more.
“I’ve been playing the trumpet a lot more lately,” he said. “I have a pocket trumpet now that I have fallen in love with. “
