Linda Ronstadt Experience at Milton Theater on October 2

“American Idol” star Tristan McIntosh creates a stunning portrayal of Linda Ronstadt at the peak of her career, and she will appear for two shows at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 2 at the historic Milton Theater, 110 Union St. in the center -City of Milton. Backed by a superb backing group, her formidable vocal talent and stage presence will transport audience members to a time when Linda Ronstadt reigned on the airwaves as one of the most popular singers in musical history.

The Linda Ronstadt Experience features the songs made famous by Ronstadt, taking listeners on a musical journey with the hits “You’re No Good”, “When Will I Be Loved”, “That’ll Be the Day”, “Blue Bayou “and This repertoire spans from Ronstadt’s early days with the Stone Ponies to the 1970s, where she helped forge the country-rock sound with classic renditions of songs by the Eagles, Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, and more. where she made the bridge between new wave sound and huge successes with her 10th album “Mad Love”. 2016 “American Idol” finalist Tristan McIntosh gives fans an emotional ride of purity, power and heartbreak, soaring through these songs as if they lived in it.

The LRE features music director Adam Michael Rothberg (producer, songwriter and sideman) on keyboards, guitars and harmony vocals. Also on guitars and harmony vocals, a recent transplant to New York via Nashville, is Bronson Bush. The newest member of the band, drummer Doug Plavin, rocks the engine room alongside veteran bassist Junior Cain, the band’s founder. To complement the band’s sound in alternating performances, seasoned multi-instrumentalists Peter Adams and Andy Santospago contribute steel pedals, guitars, harmonica, banjo and harmonies.
